Christmas preparations

Trouble with a capital ‘T’ this morning with Spaniel Charlie. Snuck into the hallway where painters busy – sniffed the open lid of the Dulux paint, saturated long dangly ears and before you know it shakes his head with the paint splattering over the walls and doors. Thankfully not Library Red but antique white!
Christmas preparation is underway and no doubt about it the house starts to morph into a bit of a Santa’s Grotto, with a mix of glamour decs together with the kids hand painted and sewn felt pieces from past.
This year cinnamon played a key role in CH’s Christmas collection with round and square gift boxes, cute little cinnamon decorations and candle holders, big and small. For us, the ambience & scent of the cinnamon is quintessential to Christmas. The infusion of pine, cinnamon, smattering of star anise and orange comes up from behind with a big left hook to the heart.
